Montreal Salon Son et Image 2009 Montreal-based dealer Coupe de Foudre demonstrated the MAXX Series 3 along with a Thor's Hammer subwoofer. The speakers were paired with electronics by Pathe (Adrenaline Monoblocks and a prototype preamp called the Synapse). The cables were from Transparent Audio, and the sources included high resolution files of Peter McGrath's recordings played back from his Sound Devices recorder. |
